Written Reviews For Crowded FSSP Latin Mass Parish With Uncontrolled Children & Screaming Infants Or Reviews For Grand Hotel Scarborough With A Bunch Of Uncontrolled Afghan Immigrants????
Can't really tell if these reviews are for a typical Latin Mass site or the Grand Hotel Scarborough, UK.
I always thought there were similarities between Latin Mass Laity and Muslim Refugees....
Barbarians!
Shocking
Stayed here for about 2 minutes full of immigrants as a holiday maker they don't cater for you far to busy picking up the £250 pounds a night for the afghan refugees. Kids are running riot not to mention the smells.
Very poor.
Short staffed . We asked for an extra pillow at 5:00pm, it came at 10.30pm. Bin in bathroom had not been emptied from previous occupancy. Paint pealing off ceiling . We had a 5th floor room facing towards other rooms in hotel. Only 1 lift working so rather a lot walking up stairs. Quite a few refugees were staying and children running around. Didn’t see anyone sanitising hand rails or door handle. Lots of people were using the tongs in the restaurant at breakfast and evening meal. Food was adequate
Relaxing break.. Haha
Decided to treat my partner and myself to a 3day break as my partner is disabled and been through the mill lately. We were told check in was after 4pm. We got there at 6.30pm expecting this to be a quick and easy process. Not to be! The queue was long, after about 15mins I decided to get my partner a drink from the bar. No cider! I returned to the queue and waited. After approx an hour I'd checked in and up to the room we went. On the way I realised there were a lot of people just stood about while hundreds (or seemed like) of children raced around screaming and shouting, after plenty of "excuse me" etc we found the room. After squeezing past folk in we went. P**s up the walls and no quilt on the bed and these said children running in and out of the room! We decided we didn't want to stay there and headed back downstairs (same carry on as going up!) I overheard people talking angrily about the kids and people just stood about, they were refugees and more buses were just parking up. I didn't have a problem with this, I just felt we should have been made aware that the hotel would be this 'hectic' then we could decide if the noise would be a problem for us. I spoke to the man on the desk and asked for a refund and explained why.. He then started shouting at me calling me a racist! I am no racist I booked the break when the school holidays had ended so it would be quieter! He flatly refused me a refund so we left. We went on to pay £150 to get a room for 1 night then left and went home a day early as we were both worn out. As I was at the desk getting insulted at least 3others were demanding a refund for the same reasons! The next day the Grand Hotel were trying to get more money off my credit card! God knows what for!Glad I took pictures!! I've sent an email. Awaiting response.. Still! Never stay there!!
Here is chief numbnuts promoting Chaos at the Latin Mass:

I liked the little screaming and uncontrolled children crawling on my legs during the Mass as I sat on the Grass in the overflow...Dr. Taylor Marshall

Holiday warning to others travelling to this hotel
After a recent visit to Scarborough and staying at the Grand Hotel,
My husband and I where there for a visit and to our dismay this hotel and the rooms are not fit for purpose, This is a holiday hotel. We should have been informed of the amount of Afghan Refugees staying in this hotel and again the amount of security that was present did not make the stay any easier. I know they had to stay somewhere but feel this was a holiday hotel and not a camp.
The rooms are not of standard and where filthy and disgraceful, we did complain to the management and we eventually got offered another room two floors down in the basement, which I might add had no means to escape if a fire where to happen in this hotel.
The television in the basement room did not work as it could not get a signal and our mobile phones would not work either...again in this day and age technology is a big part of most peoples lives. And this also added to the stress of our stay.
I understand that the hotel staff which where seriously understaffed could have been more understanding, but to stand in line for a minimum of 40 minutes to even ask for towels, toilet rolls, and even something to stir (spoon or wooden stirrer) coffee or tea is not acceptable.
The hotel which was to service over 500 guests had only one lift operating as the lifts where broken due to the children playing around in them and causing the lifts to fail...again this was mentioned to the hotel staff and said that the maintenance staff where dealing with it, which was not repaired on our departure, there where queues of approx 20 minutes to get into a lift.
As for entertainment the concept that all guests wanted to play bingo was a joke, there was no other form of entertainment in the hotel with an exception of the Thursday evening for 3/4 hour with a female singer,
The restaurant which was also to serve this high volume of guests had detailed time slots which was not suitable for every guest as we as humans do not always eat at times that were given, we had to miss breakfast on occasions and evening meals because of the allocated time slots which I might add we could not change or just drop in when suited.
I would like to warn other travellers about this hotel and hope they check trip adviser before booking.
Worst hotel in the world
Hotel or prison ?
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. The building is appalling, the rooms are dirty, the staff are surly and unresponsive, the place is full of uncontrolled refugee children, who are absolutely out of control and nobody is disciplining them
There have been so many rotten reviews of this hotel, which I wish I had read before I booked. I cannot believe the Britannia hotels have made no comments to any of the reviews. The CEO should be hanging their head in shame that they are responsible for this absolutely atrocious Level of service, and I don’t know why the public health department, The health and safety executive, or the local council have not closed them down
Do not stay in this hellhole
Read the reviews and tell me that these reviews don't describe the chaos at Latin Mass Parishes.....
More Excerpts:
Refugee children allowed to run riot with nothing said.
, it would be acceptable but there are so many refugees living in the hotel, many children running around unsupervised, laying of sofas, riding scooters it makes me a little uneasy & intimidated.......
refugees running all over the place pushing all the buttons on the lift, all food is buffet help your self people coughing over food.Got home with covid 19 and am sure it came from that hotel.
People called racist by the receptionists if they complain.I saw a man getting in a lift after a cue of 30 people and he said to an employee, why are all these people staying here to which the man who works at the hotel said to him you are a racist you should not complain.
The guest then said, I am paying to be here so I have the right to complain to which the employee said, no you dont.......
Shame that all the refugee children were allowed to run wild and play that damn piano!.....
refugees all over the hotel if you go in the lift kids pressing the buttons . Litter in the corridor outside the rooms. I took photos two days it was there if you going outside for cigarette they pester you for cigarette and lighter ........
has gone to ruin, staff working as hard as they can despite backlash from paying customers over the hotel housing Afghan refugees, this truly put a dampener on my short break away, because there seemed to be no control over young children running around causing havoc......
There were lots of refugee families living there and although some of the children were running around being unruly whilst their parents were sat on their phones......
we were greeted by dozens of afghan “refugees” behaving in a way which would result in the immediate expulsion of a paying customer.....
there were around 100 refugees in the hotel which included a lot of children that were running riot, they seemed to be getting priority service in a private dinning room, we felt like second class citizens!!......
