Monsignor Viganò Criticises Pagan Ritual Which He Attended Earlier without Complaint - Bishop

Monsignor James Powers, the Bishop of Superior, Wisconsin, has accused Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former nuncio to the United States (2011-2016), of "public defamation", reports PillarCatholic.com (decree here). Monsignor Powers presided over a syncretistic Chrism Eucharist on 19 March, which included a shamanic ceremony in which several women danced around the Novus Ordo table with feathers and drum beats. Viganò called this a "sacrilegious act that desecrates the cathedral" and said that Mgr Powers was "not a successor of the Apostles, but a servant of Freemasonry" [although the event must be blamed entirely on the Novus Ordo Church, not on anyone else]. Reverend Javier Sánchez, 60, died on 4th April in the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza, Spain. He was presiding over the Easter Vigil last Saturday at the convent of the Sisters in the Santa Isabel district of Zaragoza, where he lived. Apparently a spark flew when he lit the candle, setting fire to his chasuble and burning half of his body. An ambulance took him to hospital, where the doctors couldn't save him, writes InfoVaticana.com. Sánchez was the parish priest of San Gregorio parish in Zaragoza. Known as the "rock priest" who sometimes played guitar at concerts. As a priest, he was stuck in the mentality of the 1960s. Father Stefan Hörstrup, pastor of St Lamberti's in Ochtrup (6400 "Catholics"), Diocese of Münster, Germany, has only about 20 marriages a year in his parish, he told the newspaper 'Westfälische Nachrichten' (5 April). It seems that the few couples who want a church wedding are not religious: "If someone doesn't know how a church service works, that's no problem," Rev. Hörstrup explained. He is prepared to give "stage directions". At these marriages, there is a tendency to forgoe the Novus Ordo Eucharist and settle for a few readings and prayers ("liturgy of the word"). ‘There Are No Tints On The Window’: Miami Beach Police After Two Priests Caught Performing Sex Act In Car MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) — Two Chicago-area priests were charged Monday with Lewd and Lascivious behavior and Indecent Exposure after being caught performing a sexual act inside a car parked on a Miami Beach street. According to Miami Beach Police, 39-year-old Diego Berrio and 30-year-old Edwin GiraldoCortez were in the front seat of a car performing oral sex.
