Easter Candle Kills Rock Priest

Reverend Javier Sánchez, 60, died on 4th April in the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza, Spain. He was presiding over the Easter Vigil last Saturday at the convent of the Sisters in the Santa Isabel district of Zaragoza, where he lived. Apparently a spark flew when he lit the candle, setting fire to his chasuble and burning half of his body. Monsignor James Powers, the Bishop of Superior, Wisconsin, has accused Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former nuncio to the United States (2011-2016), of "public defamation", reports PillarCatholic.com (decree here). Transvestite Altar Servers at Novus Ordo Liturgy

Two men dressed as women have acted as "altar servers" during Novus Ordo Eucharists at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Atlanta, USA, RemnantNewspaper.com reports. The picture, taken on 28 January, shows both men, one holding the lectionary for the Gospel. The other man, who was recently baptised, received breast implants (sic) in January. The picture below shows this man at the funeral of a priest on 24 February, holding the incense during the Eucharistic Prayer just behind Cardinal Gregory of Washington. Prior to this, he had already led the entrance procession. The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is notorious for its homosexual propaganda stunts. In October 2023, it participated with a banner at Atlanta's Homosex march. The banner was carried by the same two gentlemen. Source

Wedding in the Novus Ordo in Germany: A Dog Brings The Rings

Father Stefan Hörstrup, pastor of St Lamberti's in Ochtrup (6400 "Catholics"), Diocese of Münster, Germany, has only about 20 marriages a year in his parish, he told the newspaper 'Westfälische Nachrichten' (5 April). It seems that the few couples who want a church wedding are not religious: "If someone doesn't know how a church service works, that's no problem," Rev. Hörstrup explained. He is prepared to give "stage directions". At these marriages, there is a tendency to forgoe the Novus Ordo Eucharist and settle for a few readings and prayers ("liturgy of the word"). The Novus Ordo "liturgy" of these weddings is mainly decided by the couple. Rev. Hörstrup has seen balloons floating above the Novus Ordo table, and a dog bringing the rings. Source
