People will think of nothing but amusement. The wicked will give themselves over to all kinds of sin. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their wicked lives, by their irreverence and their impiety in the celebration of the holy mysteries, by their love of money, their love of honors and pleasures, and the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking vengeance, and vengeance is hanging over their heads. Woe to the priests and to those dedicated to God who by their unfaithfulness and their wicked lives are crucifying my Son again! The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and now vengeance is at their door, for there is no one left to beg mercy and forgiveness for the people. There are no more generous souls; there is no one left worthy of offering a stainless sacrifice to the Eternal for the sake of the world. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

“God will strike in an unprecedented way. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

“Woe to the inhabitants of the earth! God will exhaust His wrath upon them and no one will be able to escape so many afflictions together. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

“The chiefs, the leaders of the people of God have neglected prayer and penance, and the devil has bedimmed their intelligence. They have become wandering stars which the old devil will drag along with his tail to make them perish. God will allow the old serpent to cause divisions among those who reign in every society and in every family. Physical and moral agonies will be suffered. God will abandon mankind to itself and will send punishments which will follow one after the other for more than thirty-five years. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

“The Society of men is on the eve of the most terrible scourges and of gravest events. Mankind must expect to be ruled with an iron rod and to drink from the chalice of the wrath of God. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

On Friday, May 9th, President William Fahey of Thomas More College of Liberal Arts (Merrimack, NH) announced to the student body that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week would be days of heightened penance and prayer, in view of the blasphemous “Black Mass” being sponsored at Harvard University’s Extension School on Monday, May 12th.

In an open letter to Harvard University’s President, Dr. Fahey has asked President Faust to intervene and stop the Black Mass from happening.

“Harvard’s sad decision to go forward with this event despite pleas at all levels indicates, at best, an ignorance of the gravity of this matter,” stated Dr. Fahey. “We are astonished that the leadership of one of America’s most well-respected academic establishments appears unwilling to intervene and stop this public attack against the very source and summit of Catholic life: the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.”

“I have encouraged the student body to remain focused on their final days of study, but to add a degree of spiritual intensity. We are approaching this as an opportunity for reparation for those involved who clearly do not understand what they are doing or the spiritual realities behind even alleged re-enactments of Satanic worship.”

“This is a very sad day for New England and a stain on the academic reputation of Harvard. No one can pretend that a Satanic sacrifice is, in any way, an exploration of history or an educational introduction to the religious heritage of mankind. Error has no rights. Bigotry is not a form of academic freedom.”

President Fahey has asked that all members of the Thomas More College community undertake some concrete act of penance and reparation on Monday.

The College Mass will take place at the scheduled time, with a special sermon by Benedictine Father Marc Crilly reflecting on the confusion in the world over spiritual realities. Faculty and students will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in the afternoon, and a special Vespers to the Blessed Virgin Mary will be sung in the evening.

“Some of our students will show their solidarity with the Catholic communities at Harvard and MIT by driving down and joining the planned Eucharistic Procession from the MIT chapel to St. Paul’s in Cambridge,” remarked Fahey. “Our students have the spiritual zeal you would expect of young, ardent Catholics. I think everyone here realizes that this so-called ‘Mass’ does not have the support of many at Harvard, but still, it is a manifestation of evil we wish to counter with acts of prayer and sacrifice.”

Tuesday, the College will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, and the students have been asked to reflect on the feast’s central message of penance and conversion throughout the day. As is the case each day of term, the student-lead Rosary will close the day.

On Wednesday, the College chaplain, Fr. John Healey, will offer a solemn Mass, which will include the official prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for reparation—especially for those who blaspheme the Blessed Sacrament. Mass will conclude with the Litany of the Precious Blood.

Wednesday evening will complete the three days with the Crowning of the Virgin Mary in the College’s Marian Grotto, followed by a festive meal. “In the face of such an outrage as is being committed at Harvard, it is very important that we exhibit a combination of dedication to our normal duties and acts of reparation. But it is equally important that we witness to the joy that is in direct contradiction to the world’s darkness and confusion.”

"I protest highly against a different text, which people may dare publish after my death. I protest once more against the very false statements of all those who dare say and write First that I embroidered the Secret; second, against those who state that the Queen Mother did not say to transmit the Secret to all her people." Mélanie
