At the beginning of July there was an incident involving the police in a parish in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Two policemen appeared in the middle of a Eucharist in Bisingen-Thanheim and interrupted it.
The reason for the sacrilege: the priest had parked his car in the wrong place.
This police attack was even too much for the anti-Catholic Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, which called it a violation of Article 4 of the German Grundgesetz, which protects the undisturbed practice of religion.
Representatives of the parish, the police and the diocese have met to discuss the matter.
The head of the Hechingen police station expressed his regret. A police spokesman said they had not intended to disrupt the service.
However, he denied that the sacrilege was illegal. Source
